Reality shows are here to stay. And there's no doubt about it especially when television tycoon Ekta Kapoor bets her money on it.The young businesswoman is now planning to make an acting-based reality show for Sony TV on the lines of Zee's "Cinestar Ki Khoj". She has been taking keen interest in making shows for the channel, especially since Sandeep Sickand quit it.While Balaji serial "Khwaish" is already on air, sources say about three more shows are in the pipeline, one of them being the reality show on acting.However, statistics show that only reality shows based on singing and dancing have got the TRPs soaring. The second innings of Zee TV's acting talent hunt "Zee Cinestar Ki Khoj" failed to earn the kind of TRP ratings its debut show did.The response led to Sony and Star steering clear of reality shows based on acting. But all that can change, believe industry insiders, if Ekta puts her mind to it. And when the soap queen makes a plan, usually there is solid conviction behind it.Buzz is that the sudden shift of focus towards Sony is because Ekta's top actors like Prachi Desai, Ronit Roy and Jai Bhanushali are participating in "Jhalak Dikhlaja", in which papa Jeetendra is also a judge.
"With her increased involvement in the channel's programming, Ekta has already occupied the hot seat in the organizational hierarchy. Her serial has pushed up the TRPs of the channel," said a source employed with the channel.Another speculation is that her tilt towards Sony is because her serials on Star Plus and Zee are not doing too well these days. However, a creative person associated with Balaji Telefilms is all praise for her boss: "Ekta is the queen of soaps.Whatever be the matter, she is enjoying very good viewership for all her shows. It is just that she is spreading her wings and not limiting herself to a few channels."But then, the TRP charts prove otherwise. Even a mythological-historical show like "Prithviraj Chauhan" is enjoying higher TRPs than Balaji's prime-time soaps. Had that not been the truth, why would Ekta sack six of her creative people all at one go.Her rift with her subordinates could also be because of her bossy attitude. Her possessiveness about her actors is a very well-known fact in the television industry.At the same time, Ekta also has loyal supporters amongst her actors. Aspiring actor Jai Bhanushali, one of the participants in "Jhalak Dikhlaja" and the lead of "Kayamath", says: "Ekta never stops us from doing anything we want.She told us that if we can manage it then we could go ahead and work with other channels and media houses. She said we should just see to it that our work does not get affected. Ekta wants her work to be perfect and that's it." But then, would any actor working for Ekta dare to say a word against her?Wouldn't that be suicidal, especially when one is at the threshold of a career in television? It's only after carving a niche for themselves that Smriti Irani and Cezzane Khan dared to stand up to Ekta.A few months back, when Ekta launched Dhoop, she was asked if it were an alternative to her serials just in case they flop. Her reply was much in the face. "Yes, may be you all can consider this as an alternative as my serials are not doing well."Well, Ekta we hope that your new experiment of getting into the arena of reality shows saves you the Dhoop of poor TRPs of your soaps. Here's hoping Ekta sets a new trend with her reality show on acting on Sony.

hi Ekta or please tell ekta - thank you from behave of all muslim viewers and Pakistani Audenance that Khwaish is fantastic even thought some islamic tridion are missing in it. when Kabir died no one visit his grave, there were no quran khuwani for fahatiha been shown is read among his family.
Also Afreen can not be married until the baby is born even though she is no longer in iddat. Islam say that during this time mother to be is invery sentive position she need to be kept away from the pressure and hardship. it is different today people never pay attention to it.
Also please ekta dont let afreen to quite the show and PLEASE PLEASE bring Sumeet back into the Khwaish for Afreen not as her son or ok bring him later but also please bring sumeet back.
Azaan is fanrastic but he look young and find another younger girl deshi girl with our indian/pakistni like Afreen simplity in her personality.
Sanyia is no good for Azaan he is more handsome.

yes I do agree that Azaan is very handsome but Afreen look more mature for him but Afreen look better with Kabir. They look more better and i can not stand Aapa becuse of the colour and her jewellery does not look nice with her.
Also Please do bring Sumeet again into Khwaish but for God shake with removing Azaan or Afreen or mazher from the Khuwaish.

I am watching your Khwaish epsisode with my family, wife and daughter. You have two snaky characters, Naaz and younger pfuppi (Nadira Begum). We understand motive of Naaz and her jelousy with her sis-in-law and in-laws. We do not understand ill motive of Nadira begum. Is she a widow or a divorcee with hatreat towards her own in-laws or even against her brother? Why being adult and quite old, she is living with her brother? Please put an episode to make it clear.

A lot of us have started to watch khwaish just for the beautiful chemistry between azaan and afreen.ekta please dont do anything to separate them. Increase their romantic scenes and make their love story more intense. We really believe that this is the best balaji show on air at the moment.Please dont do anything stupid like taking a 20 year jump or killing one of them or changing the actors.Even our friends in UK are enjoying this show.

well me and my family are very fond of khwaish and watch it every day without fail..
but wanted to share some small points... Nasreen has been married to mazhar .. in Islam the girl'' s consent is very very important... you dint really let us hear what the imam said ... but the fact is if he dint say mazhar''s name while asking the girl... then the marriage did not happen, Islam would never permit such a wedding.. or other wise if you had shown that the girls father was answering the imam and then the groom turned out to be maxhar not salman .. then it would have made sense sine he was the one who was planning it...
Secondly , some episodes make no sense... they are just wasting time and the episode finishes without taking the serial further... please don''t drag the episodes without taking the topic further coz the audiences then loose the interest.
plus now there is no news of azaan''s nani, khala and cousin who were very important in kabir''s wedding but suddenly disappears and do not even come for azaan''s, naz''s wedding or any other ocassions.

well..............I think that afreen is best matched with kabir...........and the on screen chemistry of kabir and afreen were the reason why the show was popular at that time................the sloppy TRPs show that though azaan and afreen both are good looking .............i dont see THE spark what was between kabir and afreen present between afreen and azaan............so without kabir the show lost it''s romantic look...........I''m happy that kabir''s back...........and i hope that the TRP''s will now again be increased........but in that case afreen and kabir must be together...........

thank you for bring back kabir bhai. I like afreen to be togather with him hope afreen love story start again, but i feel sorry for azaan too. I do want afreen and azaan to remain as friends like they were before kabir (kamran)back.
I heard that the show is going to be end soon. Please ekta dont do that I want afreen n kabir togather and their romance let live little longer. this is not insafe bhai ... it is my first time watching indian soaps and you taking it away.
please dont remove azaan from the show either. but dont let afreen to remove kabir bhai from her life because they both suit each other so well.
