If garnering praise from Aamir Khan for her realistic performance as the boy's mother in Taare Zameen Par wasn't enough, the talented Tisca Chopra has been asked by none other than Naseeruddin Shah to take a few classes and teach the new students at Subhash Ghai's Whistling Woods International School, when not shooting!! Says Tisca,"It is definitely a great honor for me to get the opportunity to be part of Mr Ghai's magnificent school and I hope to teach as many classes as I can when I am not shooting! Working in Taare Zameen Par has been the most splendid experience and I hope to get many projects like this soon!! Well, Beauty and Brains is quite a potent combination for a teacher, right!!

  Seems like Salman Khan has a hidden talent of sketching and that is why he opted to sketch his co-starer Aseem Khan and surprisingly Assem Khan was pretty impressed by this talent of Salman’s who knows he might be forced to leave acting due to his controversial stigma and go for sketching. He may be destined to be controversy's child and the media's favourite whipping boy, but his friends and long list of admirers always swear by him. It's a known fact in the industry that beneath the rough and tough image and his bulging biceps, there is an equally big heart. And the latest one to join the legion of Khan's long list of die hard admirers is his co-star of Prabhudeva's Hindi directorial venture Wanted Dead Or Alive (which is a remake of the hit Telugu film hit Pokhiri ) star Aseem Merchant. The model turned actor was recently shooting with Salman in Hyderabad, when Khan surprised Aseem by telling him that he would like to sketch the reel character he is playing in the film. "At first he was joking, as Salman had this habit of pulling his friend's legs. But to my surprise, he called for a paper and pencil and made me sit in front of him with my full get up and drew the sketch. He did a great job, till now I have only heard about his painting and sketches, but this was my first hand experience and I was floored. But that's Salman Khan for you. He has an emotional and creative side, which not many have seen. We really bonded well during shooting. I have decided to frame the sketch and keep it in my house," says Aseem who plays the main villain in this Salman Khan starrer. Now that's a unique bonding between the hero and his villain.

 On Monday night, Aseem Merchant who's shooting in Hyderabad for Boney Kapoor's Prabhu Deva-directed untitled actioner, got the surprise of his life from his co-star, Salman Khan."He made a sketch of me. It's so beautiful, so life-like and professional; I feel Salman can shape into one of the best artistes in the country."Salman and Aseem play antagonists in the film. “The film is about modern gangs. Salman plays an undercover cop while I play a gangster. So during most of the day we're fighting each other on camera. At night, we caught up for drinking sessions. So it was on Monday night. We sat together at 9 pm and went on till 2 am. It took Salman a good two hours to make my sketch. At the end of it I felt like I'm the richest man in the world." Aseem intends to frame the sketch in his room. "I don’t know how many others have this gift from Salman. But I certainly feel privileged."The shooting of the Boney-Prabhu Deva collaboration is nearly over. Aseem whose career has been in a state of suspension for many years is suddenly doing quality work. "Besides this film where I'm the main villain I play the lead in Sisir Mishra’s Bengali film Aseema."No fears of going from ultra-noble in Aseema to ultra-evil in Boney's film? "These demarcations exist only in our minds. The audience readily accepts an actor in negative and positive roles."

The young and ravishing bollywood actress Katrina laughed over the idle talk of her break up with Salman Khan.While answering a question that what role does Sallu plays in her life, she smiled and answered that nothing. She also said that nobody is interfering in her life, and she is living in her own style.Miss Kaif emphasized, “I create my own equations.”When asked, is there romance involved between Kat & Salman? Her response was interesting."What one has to do in circumstances when one has no choice is another thing. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan spoke candidly to South African journalists from Mumbai about his accidental debut as director in his latest film, Taare Zameen Par, which opens worldwide this Friday, and his views on educating children on Tuesday. Explaining his role as an unconventional teacher who helps change the life of a child with academic problems, Aamir said the film does reflect on traditional teaching methods and their efficacy or otherwise. Aamir Khan presents Taare Zameen Par "It's about a kid who has a passion for painting but faces a lot of difficulty in his academic life. It's a story about his life and his relationship with his art teacher, which is the role that I play, by changing his life through caring and understanding. That is the key message of the film - that with caring and love you can actually do a lot," Aamir said.

Shah Rukh Khan has every reason to preen. No, it doesn't have anything to do with his six packs. Rather, it's his wife Gauri Khan who is the center of attention.The mother of two has been chosen as the cover girl of Vogue India for its January edition.The pictures were shot against the eight-floor extension of the Khans' sprawling home, Mannat.'This is not my profession,' Gauri said. 'It has to be something really new and unusual to make me want to do something like this. I did enjoy the shoot but to be honest, I wouldn't do it very often.""This collaboration between Gauri and Vogue India is a natural fit," says Priya Tanna, Editor Vogue India. "It is her first solo cover and a coup of sorts for Vogue. That she is stylish, enigmatic, and poised is known, but at the shoot we saw another side of her, that of a cover girl. Even in the frames she shares with Shah Rukh , she holds her own impressively. She offers delightful peeks into her life, her wardrobe and her man. Gauri is a true Voguette."The issue will hit newsstands on December 20.

Salman Khan's wax statue will be unveiled in London's Madame Tussauds on January 15.The star was recently measured and photographed by expert Tussauds sculptors in Mumbai. He has already donated the outfits for the figure to wear and recorded an exclusive video message that will be shown at the opening."I am touched and honoured that my fans have chosen me to appear in the prestigious Madame Tussauds. I look forward to visiting and coming face-to-face with my likeness," Salman said.Khan beat nine other Indian stars, including Madhuri Dixit [Images] and Abhishek Bachchan [Images], to be immortalised in wax after a public poll was conducted this August. Over 10,000 votes were received, and Salman emerged the clear winner.Madame Tussauds, London, has been making wax figures for over 150 years. Each masterpiece takes four months and a team of 20 dedicated sculptors to create. Over 500 precise body measurements are referenced, real hair is inserted one by one, and countless layers of paints and tints are applied to build up skin tones.Salman will join the likes of Amitabh Bachchan [Images], Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai, who have already been immortalised in wax at Tussauds.

It's Madhur Bhandarkar's latest film Fashion which is keeping her busy all the time.As she says herself, "I have been so busy these days that I have found no time to introspect. Fashion is the only movie right now that I am going to be taking a lot of stress over."2007 has been a cold year for this former Miss World but Priyanka is eagerly looking forward to 2008 in which she will feature in as many as half dozen films.“This year I had a sort of sabbatical year and this year just two releases. But 2008 will be my busiest calendar as I would be acting in six films. I have acted in about 20 films in my four-year-old cinema career so far and 2008 will be the busiest,” says Priyanka.Her new releases coming out in the next one year include: God Tussi Great Ho with Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan , Love Story 2050 with Harman Baweja , Drona with Abhishek Bachchan , Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion , another film called Chamki Chameli and a yet-to-be-named film with John Abraham as co-star.Priyanka also tells that there were some calls from the Hollywood to act in English films, but she first preferred to 'master' acting in Indian films.But coming back to on-screen fashion travails, it is her off-screen fashion issues that are in the news.At a recent polo event in the city, Priyanka apparently refused to wear a Rohit Bal gown that was provided by the organisers. Priyanka, however, dismisses it as a mix of mere speculation and a lot of gossip. “Not at all! I have absolutely no issue there. In fact, I love Rohit’s work.That day when I came for the event, I had a choice of outfits from various designers. A lot of them did not fit me because I had not done trials in Mumbai before coming for the event. And so, whatever fit me, I wore it for the event. I couldn’t have managed the fitting here in Delhi because we were running late. We were really tight on time,” she says.
