Vidya Balan And Tabu Next Movie With Santosh Sivan's Urmi: We all are witness to Vidya Balan's acting prowess and her dancing excellence. No wonder then that director Santosh Sivan didn't blink an eye before approaching Balan for a dance number based on the traditional Mohiniattam dance form, in his yet to release film titled Urmi. The song has been choreographed by the well known south dance director Ulhas.

Not only is Vidya performing a dance number but she has an extended part in the film as well. This Malayalam film is a period drama set in the 15th Century and deals with the killer of Vasco Da Gama. The leading actors of the film are Genelia D'Souza and Prabhudeva.

This particular song will be shot by the end of this month when hopefully the principal shooting of ‘Tees Mar Khan’ gets completed.

Asin Khan Refuse Project Of Boney Kapoor: She is reported as one of the closest friend of Sridevi as they stay in the same building and bonded really well. But rumour has it that Asin has said no to Boney Kapoor’s film offer.

Asin says all the news is rubbish, “ I don’t know from where this reports have come? How can the media print something that's not factual and expect us to reply to it?

I am good friend of Sridevi ji, she is like my mentor, I respect her a lot. I was in Chennai when this news spread that I refused Boneyji’s offer, that’s just impossible,” says Asin.

Boney Kapoor whose film Milenge Milenge released after a lot of nakhras by the stars of the film and now he is working on Mr.India-2 and No Entry sequel, “ We are working on Be Positive which is the sequel of No Entry and also on Mr.India sequel. But we are now working on the script. We have not yet finalized who we will cast,” says Boney Kapoor.

Katrina Kaif Unique Role In The Movie Of Dabangg: Bollywood actor Salman Khan organised a special screening of his much-hyped film Dabangg last Saturday. Many celebrities like Shilpa Shetty, Karisma Kapoor, Manoj Kumar, Kunal Kapoor, Imran Khan, Avantika and others attended it.

However, Katrina Kaif's absence raised the eyebrows of many, as speculations of their split have been rife of late.Special screening of Dabangg was held for its unit, and Katrina was also invited. However, the actress could not make it, as she was busy shooting with Akshay Kumar for Farah Khan's Tees Maar Khan at Film City. Produced by Arbaaz Khan and directed by Abhinav Kashyap, Dabangg features Salman and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. It is scheduled for release this Friday, September 10.

Vidya Balan Announced On Next Movie With Sajoy Ghosh: After the debacle of his last venture Aladin, director Sujoy Ghosh is all set with his next venture titled Kahani. Unit sources inform that unlike his earlier films Jhankaar Beats and Home Delivery, this film is a woman oriented subject. It will be an issue based film.

As for the lead role, Sujoy Ghosh has already signed Vidya Balan. As the film is a woman oriented subject, “Sujoy was keen to have an actress who would do justice to the role and hence he chose Vidya Balan for the lead,” says our source.

The film is based in Kolkata and is expected to go on floors in Ocotber this year. Ghosh’s entire pre-production team is in Kolkata preparing for the film. However, everyone is very tightlipped about the entire project. “Sujoy has always been very hush hush about his movies. He does not like to talk about the film till he is completely satisfied with the shoot,” said the source.

Priyanka Chopra Act On Race2: One of the most awaited sequels is Race 2. After the super response to Race, the combo of director duo Abbas-Mustan and producer Ramesh Taurani (Tips) is all set to return with yet another high octane thriller.

The casting of Race 2 has been a much talked about topic among industry folks and on last count it was heard that Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and John Abraham are part of the project while the leading ladies were yet to be finalized. However, the latest is that the makers have just signed Priyanka Chopra for one of the main female leads. Confirming this, producer Ramesh Taurani says, “Yes Priyanka Chopra has been finalized for Race 2 while we are still on the look out for 2 more heroines.” On being asked, whom the actress was paired opposite, Taurani said, “That you will have to wait and watch as Race 2 is also full of twists and turns.”

Taurani also denied the rumours doing the rounds about Saif walking out of the project. “All these stories are completely false. Saif is very much a part of Race 2. He along with Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, and now Priyanka Chopra are the actors who are confirmed on board.”

They sat together and right till the moment the event started, kept chatting about the work they are doing respectively for films and philanthropy. The previous season of Khatron Ke Khiladi was hosted by Akshay Kumar. According to sources Priyanka Chopra is said to be receiving a whopping Rs. 1-3 crores to host this TV show. Priyanka Chopra is currently filming for the promos for this in Bangkok. The rest of show will be shot in Copacabana, Brazil and the show is expected to hit the screens anytime between July and August.
