The Bollywood strike may have ended but trouble continues for filmmakers who fear losses with the back to back release of some mega budget movies, which may divide the audiences.
More than 50 films with an estimated budget of over 1200 crore are lined up for release, after the two-month long strike between producers-distributors and multiplex owners ended on June 5.
With all the buzz about the 10th Annual International Indian Film Academy Awards you would think that the best of B-town would be in attendance, but it looks like the event organizers have to deal with a bunch of no-shows. So who's not coming ? Shahrukh Khan was first in line to "call out" and it seems like many actors are following suit. Someone close to Akshay Kumar was quoted as saying that "a family vacation was planned well in advance to coincide with Akshay's son Aarav's school holidays. Akshay doesn't like leaving Aarav behind when he is out of the country. At the same time he doesn't want his son to miss school. So the annual holiday was planned well in advance. No power on earth, not even IIFA, is going to persuade Akshay to take even a small break from the holiday, let alone break his little boy's heart." Well although that sounds like a good enough reason it didn't stop event planners from trying to get Akki to the awards.

According to reports, downloading screensavers and wallpapers of Katrina can be harmful to one`s computer. A report called ‘The Web’s Most Dangerous Search Terms’, released by computer security provider McAfee Inc, says that the beautiful actress’ name is one of the most dangerous online search words in India and queries related to her name can come up with results linking to malicious software and online scams.

Celina Jaitley: Hey Shreyas, Paying Guests has truly been a homecoming for you. Isn’t this your fifth film with Mukta Arts? Shreyas Talpade A homecoming as well as a college reunion of sorts.
Paying Guests is my fifth film under the Mukta banner. It was also sort of a college reunion. Director Paritosh Painter, writer Ballu and I used to do amateur theatre in college.
We never dreamt that one day we would do a film together under the prestigious banner of Mukta Arts. This has been truly an enjoyable experience.
Sayali Bhagat: Talk about multi-star films, by the way, how many heroines does the film have besides me?
Vatsal Seth: The film has four heroines (Celina, Neha, Riya and you) and two more(Jaaved and Shreyas) - so the count is half a dozen! How did you agree to be a part of this multi-heroine movie, Sayali? Sayali: I had seen the play and thought Paritosh makes amazing comedy.
