Rani Mukherjee & Aamir Khan working togather: Kareena Kapoor must be already on cloud nine after getting her dire wish fulfilled. Kareena desired to work with Aamir immediately after the release of ‘3 Idiots’ and she has got him in Aamir’s immediate next. Aamir, the God of Bollywood (as Kareena puts it), has signed Reema Kagti’s untitled suspense thriller and shall be teaming up with Kareena and Rani Mukherjee for this film that goes on floors in February, 2011.

While Kareena and Aamir have recently been seen in ‘3 Idiots’, the actor teams up with Rani after a gap of 5 years. The last time Aamir had worked with Rani was for the period piece ‘Mangal Pandey: The Rising’. That film was highly promising and hugely hyped but unfortunately had its flaws and fell flat at the box office. Aamir had grown long manes and moustache for his Mangal Pandey role (incidentally, he is growing a moustache for Reema Kagti’s film as well) but Aamir-Rani love story had to face protests from some quarters.

Earlier, Rani had worked with Aamir in ‘Ghulam’ which did a decent business. Rani was at the nascent stage of her career at the time and her camaraderie with Aamir was delightful. Now, over the years, Rani has matured into a resplendent and experienced actress; Aamir has become the most bankable actor. One can clearly predict a super hit as Rani and Aamir meet for the 3rd time. But how big will it get, how majestic shall be the box office reports-any guesses from you folks?
