People may keep talking about Salman Khan's exemplary 'dosti', but Akshay Kumar isn't too far behind. The actor recently helped his filmmaker friend Rakesh Upadhyay acquire work permit visas in Canada for the entire cast and crew of Haule Haule Ho Jayega Pyaar within two days, a process that normally takes more than two weeks.
A source informed, "On September 30, the unit of the film applied for work permit visas in Canada. Normally, it takes more than two weeks. But Upadhyay wanted to get permissions sooner. He wanted to wrap up the shoot before the end of October. Also, the unit wanted to come back home before Diwali. So he approached his friend Akshay Kumar."
"Akshay, who is the brand ambassador of Canada got the visas within two working days. Incidentally, Vikram Bali is the lead actor of the film and he is the son of Akshay's ex secretary, the late Bali," added the source. A happy Rakesh Upadhyay thanked his friend Akshay and said, "I told him about my problem and he was gracious enough to help me out."
