Our New York model-turned-actress, Nargis Fakhri, says that her co-star, Ranbir, is a caring human being and that the film industry is a huge global village with people working across shores. She also feels that the colour of her skin should not be a hitch when it comes to her settling down in Bollywood. She is scouting around for a suitable script to make a splash in T-town.

Nargis recently trashed rumours of her linking up with her Rockstar co-star as baseless. She said, “There is absolutely no truth in it and such unfounded reports are irksome for a sensitive newcomer like me. However, working with Ranbir was more like a blessing for me. He was very supportive and is also a caring. Despite his star status, he put me at ease and it was fun working with such an amazing actor.” After gorgeous Jacqueline Fernandez, Angela Johnson and Rosa Catalona, this half-Czech and half-Pakistani, joins the cadre of Bollywood’s foreign imports.
“I think exchanging actresses is a healthy phenomenon and Bollywood films are popular overseas too,” she reasons. Commenting on her legendary namesake Nargis Dutt, she says, “Yes I am aware of the iconic actress Nargis and I have also watched her classic movie Mother India, which I loved. Interestingly, any person from India who visited us, would begin to talk about Nargis as soon as they heard my name and it was an amazing journey for me.”
