Neha Dhupia says she was reminded the days of her struggle while shooting for Pappu Can’t Dance Saala. Neha Dhupia, who plays the character of a back-up dancer in her upcoming film Pappu Can’t Dance Saala says that the role reminded her of the days when she was struggling to make a mark in her real life. The female star, who plays a back-up dance in the film, used to pick-up shoes of models backstage, when she first came to work in Bollywood.

Recalling the struggle she went through on her way to the top, Neha Dhupia said, “I started my career with a beauty pageant but not many people are aware that the first fashion show I attended was by helping models with their shoes backstage. So now each time I walk the ramp at a fashion show I am reminded of my own early days.”
Neha Dhupia added, “When I observe the backup dancers on the sets and their ambition, dedication and attitude towards their profession, it reminds me of my initial days of struggle. The struggle hasn’t ended though because every actor first struggles to achieve a certain position and then to maintain it.”
It should be hoped that having experienced it all herself, Neha Dhupia not only would have enjoyed playing her character in Pappu Can’t Dance Saala but would also have brought an element of reality in it.
